Cucina Tipica da Giovanna

The restaurant was recommended to us by the locals, there were 5 of us and we had dinner with mixed starters, first and second courses of fish. We ate really well. The fresh pasta is handmade, you could feel the flavors of the sea. The house wine is delicious, the red Carignano del Sulcis and the white Vermentino Monti. We also had land appetizers and all local cheeses accompanied by Pompia jam, a typical citrus fruit from the municipality of Siniscola, all really good and tasty. To conclude, house-made myrtle, Pompia citrus liqueur with typical Sardinian sweets and some made with Pompia itself.Excellent service, the courses came out at the same time, they provided us with lemon towels after the fish, a service now forgotten by almost all restaurants. After the appetizers, the waiter was careful to come by with a plate to serve the missing cutlery. They were very thorough in explaining the dishes and were very friendly. Price quality is right.We will definitely be back also because we would like to eat "porceddu" and lamb, which must be booked at least the day before.

Great little place in La Caletta serving both sea and land food. Traditional recipes and high quality - no corners have been cut here. They also serve gluten free food . We will definitively come back!
